Vietnam Electricity Trade Union visits and encourages EVNCPC staff to overcome consequences of storms and floods

On the afternoon of November 11 in Da Nang, a working delegation of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union led by Mr. Do Duc Hung - Chairman of the Vietnam Electricity Trade Union visited and encouraged the staff and workers of the Central Power Corporation (EVNCPC) who are overcoming the heavy damage caused by storms and floods in the Central Highlands region.

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the leaders of Vietnam Electricity Group, Mr. Do Duc Hung - Chairman of Vietnam Electricity Trade Union (EVNTU) acknowledged and highly appreciated the spirit of solidarity, responsibility, and efforts to overcome difficulties of EVNCPC staff in recent days. Despite being severely affected by storms and floods, the Corporation's forces have proactively and urgently deployed response plans to quickly restore the power grid.

Through the working program, EVNTU awarded VND 2.3 billion to support EVNCPC with the hope that the staff and employees of the entire unit will continue to make efforts to complete the task of restoring and stabilizing the power system.

On behalf of EVNCPC's leaders and employees, Mr. Nguyen Thanh - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of EVNCPC's Board of Members (BOM) affirmed that this is a great source of encouragement to help EVNCPC's collective to be more steadfast, continue to make efforts to overcome the consequences of natural disasters, and soon complete the task of ensuring safe and continuous power supply for people and businesses in the Central Highlands - Central region.
