Ms.Alice Carr, Executive Director of Public Policy at GFANZ, said that GFANZ is an alliance of financial institutions around the world on emissions reduction, with the aim of accelerating the world's energy transition by 2050. This is also an international organization with a lot of experience in financial support in green energy transition projects of countries around the world.
Ms. Alice Carr emphasized GFANZ is ready to support and promote cooperation with EVN in the process of energy transition towards net zero emissions, especially offshore wind power projects in Vietnam.

EVN’s Vice President Nguyen Tai Anh would like to thank GFANZ for its interest in the energy sector and its plans to achieve Vietnam's net zero emissions target. EVN leader affirmed that EVN set the goal of energy transition towards net zero emissions as an important task, parallel with ensuring national energy security.
At the meeting, the two sides had detailed exchanges and discussions on such issues: the structure of Vietnam's power sources; the role of EVN in the power system and power market; the renewable energy development plan in Vietnam, especially solar power and offshore wind projects; the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) as well as the work that Vietnam has implemented, etc.
