Mr. Koshio Katsuhiko - Chairman of Toyo Joint Stock Company (Toyo Group) shared that Toyo Group is experienced in implementing many projects in Japan and abroad. Toyo Group is looking forward to cooperating with EVN in energy development in the near future.
At the meeting, Toyo Group presented their initiative of producing biomass pellets to be combined with coal to generate electricity and wished to cooperate with EVN's power plants.

At the same time, Toyo Group wishes to cooperate with EVN in such fields as providing technical services on power plant operations in Vietnam; supplying fuels such as coal, oil, LNG, etc. for power plants.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Dinh Nhan – President and CEO of EVN highly appreciated the initiative of Toyo Group. At the same time, he suggested that Toyo Group should have better insight into the coal-fired thermal power development trend in Vietnam in accordance with Master Plan VIII, Vietnam's power plants, coal supplies, as well as the feasibility of the initiative in order to secure efficiency when the company decides to invest in Vietnam.
The leaders of EVN and Toyo Group also agreed to keep on considering and finding future cooperation orientations.
