The delegation from UL Solutions Vietnam was led by Mr. Mathieu Do Tien Dung – Vietnam Director, and accompanied by Mr. Park SooKil - Director of Asia Region, Technical Materials Division, and delegation members who are experts and senior managers in the fields of engineering, business, and product development.

At the meeting, UL Solutions Vietnam’s representatives introduced the company's capabilities and operations in the field of inspecting, testing, and technical consulting in the Vietnamese and international markets. The discussion focused on a number of areas, such as energy storage solutions (BESS), power system optimization consulting, as well as cooperation in testing medium and high voltage power cables. UL Solutions expressed its desire to accompany EVN in technical consulting activities, quality audit, and improving the efficiency of power system operations - especially in the context of the strong energy transition taking place in Vietnam.

Speaking at the meeting, EVN’s Vice President Ngo Son Hai acknowledged the cooperation proposals from UL Solutions. The EVN leader requested the Group's professional departments to clarify specific proposals to consider the possibility of cooperation in the future. UL Solutions is a global company headquartered in the United States, operating in more than 110 countries, with a network of internationally recognized laboratories. In Vietnam, UL Solutions has been operating since 2007 with a representative office in Ho Chi Minh City and two laboratories located in Ho Chi Minh City and Hai Duong, providing testing and certification (TIC) services and specialized consulting services for renewable energy fields such as wind power, solar power and energy storage.
