Recently, EVNHCMC inaugurated its Network Operations Center (NOC) at 35 Ton Duc Thang Street, Sai Gon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

Delegates perform ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate Network Operations Center, marking EVNHCMC's transition to centralized, continuous, and synchronized monitoring model.

The NOC occupies an area of approximately 290 square meters and includes a monitoring and operations area, a work and shift-rest area, and an internal meeting room. The operations area is equipped with a centralized display system, workstations, and supporting equipment to enable engineers to continuously monitor the system 24/7.

EVNHCMC leaders receive introduction to monitoring system at NOC, which provides centralized monitoring of IT infrastructure, proactive alerts, and 24/7 incident response support.

At the NOC, infrastructure layers ranging from physical equipment, virtualization systems, databases, and software to transmission networks and end users are brought under a single monitoring hub. The NOC also coordinates with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to detect early signs of anomalies, issue alerts, and support timely incident response.

As power grid management and operations and customer services increasingly depend on data, the requirement is not only to invest in additional software but also to ensure that digital infrastructure operates continuously and securely. Putting the NOC into operation provides a foundation for EVNHCMC to implement initiatives in science and technology, innovation, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation in the next phase.
