On the morning of August 8, the EVNSPC Youth Union coordinated with local authorities to organize a series of social welfare activities including providing support to children and young people, and handing over a youth project in Luong Son Commune.

The “Lighting Up Rural Roads 2026” project comprises 32 solar-powered lamps, each with a capacity of 400W, installed along a road nearly 1.5km long. The project contributes to improving travel conditions, enhancing lighting, and creating a more attractive landscape for the area.

On this occasion, the EVNSPC Youth Union also presented 21 gifts to families eligible for preferential policies and 55 gifts to disadvantaged students in the commune.

As part of the program, the “Digital Summer” volunteer team received training to support community digital transformation initiatives in the locality. Children and young people in Luong Son Commune were also provided with guidance on knowledge and skills for preventing and responding to drowning incidents.

The series of activities is one of the EVNSPC youth programs organized to commemorate the 81st anniversary of the success of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, while also linking Youth Union activities with social welfare and community support in the locality.
